NOW THAT'S FISHING!!!

Ever since Brad sent his tale of conquest in the watery depths of our Waterton fishing hole - and the tale of tape - the Pike that never got away - (by the way, we haven't seen a picture yet!), Dad figured he needed to top the fish story - so there you are - two "pikes" to top all pikes. Right out of Ghana waters. In reality the story is this - we had two car loads of Koreans stop in front of the MTC and were studying it carefully. Mom and I were in the apartment when she said you should go down and see what the crowd is all about. When I went down, the guard at the gate didn't want to let them in, but their interest was in the building - so I invited them to come in - have a little tour and told them a little of what we were doing. They were a fishing company and were just in the throes of beginning a building here in Tema, but liked ours so well, they wanted to see it and know about how it was built and details, etc... So we set them up with an appointment with the project manager in Accra at the Area Office. Two days after their visit, they brought these two fish to say thank to us for letting them tour and helping them get the information they would like to have in starting their building program - We gave the two that brought the fish a copy of the Book of Mormon and thanked them so much - Sister Howard our cook will now be faced with the challenge of frying filets off these two wonderful fish.

Comments:
Sadly I have lost the film with the picture of Brad's fish on it! I keep looking - one of these days it will turn up. I take comfort in the fact that at least Carolyn was there to corroborate our story! We promise we didn't buy her off!

Hope you're all having a wonderful visit! Enjoy the many fish dinners that await you!
